As my first blog post, I write this as a point of interest in my life in that I am now embarking on the business end of producing art. I've painted mostly for myself for a number of years and even sold a painting back in 2000 in a gallery in Gainesville Texas that was on the square. However, there were many competing life interests for me at that time that kept me from a serious pursuit of art as a business. I did not feel that my work was technically proficient and certainly not consistent at that time, that would give me the push needed to move myself forward. Times have changed and I feel that my work has improved enough to give me confidence to be bold and make a move to sell my art. Will people like my works and can I sell my art? We shall see!
